Kurt Cobain made a profound impact on society through his songs and as well as with his quirky & strong fashion sense. He was not merely a singer but also a fashion icon who taught an entire generation how to add a cool charm to the rebellious personality. Are you interested in Kurt Cobain’s iconic sunglasses? What Type Of Sunglasses Did Kurt Cobain Wear?

Kurt Cobain was also an outspoken feminist whose style was emulated by the youth of the 90s. The oversized jumpers, ripped jeans, and grandpa cardigan, which he often wore on stage, was just his way of showing off his unique and eccentric fashion sense to the world. But what sets him apart was his oversized women’s white oval sunglasses from Christian Roth’s 6558 series.

In 1993, photographer Jesse Frohman photographed Kurt Cobain wearing a leopard-print coat, flap cap, and a white oval-shaped pair of sunglasses. This photo, taken a few months before he took his own life, which soon became iconic.

In 1993 MTV awards functions, he was spotted wearing a sailor-striped top and holding his daughter’s milk bottle. But here again, his cherry red oversized sunglasses were the center of attraction. Another pair of sunglasses he liked was the 6556 series round-frames.
